Elastomer Engineering is proud to have held ISO 9001:2008 approval (including its predecessors) since 1986.
We conduct regular external audits certified by the British Standards Institute and monthly internal audits covering all aspects of our operation.
Besides having ISO 9001:2008 accreditation we are also certified as approved suppliers to many world class organisations, for example Schlumberger, Teledyne Geophysical Instruments, Bentley Motors and GKN Westland Helicopters.
To ensure consistent product performance we apply a rigorous Quality Assurance regime throughout the company. This involves scheduled quality checks at every stage of manufacture, from development and testing to final product inspection and dispatch.
Each type of product we manufacture has its unique reference number and Process Instruction document and the progress of each works batch is recorded on a Route Card. Our skilled workforce is motivated to ensure that these procedures are meticulously met. The QA system provides full traceability.
Certificates of Conformity are available at no extra cost. However, in accordance with our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, all relevant information is displayed on our standard Delivery Note.
